What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex, damages to the rental unit, and impairment of safety. The Tenant had failed to properly dispose of garbage and recycling and maintain cleanliness in the rental unit.
The ruling
The Landlord's application for eviction is denied as long as the Tenant cleans the rental unit by April 7, 2018 and maintains it in a state of ordinary cleanliness for one year. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $190 for the application filing fee.
