What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference and unauthorized occupant. The Tenant transferred occupancy of the rental unit to an unauthorized person, AG, without the Landlords' consent.

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective September 30, 2014, the date the Tenant and unauthorized occupant vacated the rental unit. The unauthorized occupant, AG, is ordered to pay the Landlords $558.96 for use of the unit and $170 for the application filing fee, with the full amount due by November 6, 2014. If not paid, AG will owe interest at 3% on the outstanding balance.
