What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord or Landlord's agent harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, entered the rental unit illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household and withheld or deliberately interfered with the reasonable supply of a vital service, care service, or food that the Landlord was obligated to supply under the tenancy agreement.

The ruling

The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant an abatement of rent in the amount of $847.70 for the substantial interference with the Tenant's reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit due to water issues, illegal entries by the Landlord's agents, and the smelly garbage room.
