What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay the rent arrears and current rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,180 in rent arrears and costs, plus $31.23 per day in compensation starting February 3, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 13, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
