What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenant committing an illegal act and seriously impairing the safety of another person in the residential complex. The incident involved the Tenant chasing and striking another tenant with a knife in the parking lot.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated due to the Tenant's illegal act and serious impairment of safety. The Tenant must vacate by January 31, 2023, and pay $5,460.84 to the Landlord.
