What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to comply with a condition in a previous order to allow the Landlord entry to the rental unit for an inspection.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 1, 2021. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord, as the amount of the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the amount the Landlord is entitled to. The Landlord is authorized to offset $41.24 per day for the Tenant's continued occupation of the unit starting October 22, 2021 until the Tenant vacates.
