What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 15, 2021. The tenant must pay $1,476.95 to the landlord, which includes rent arrears up to October 4, 2021 and the application filing fee, minus the rent deposit and interest. The tenant must also pay $67.27 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting October 5, 2021 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant pays $5,464.49 on or before October 15, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
