What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the terms of a previous mediated settlement.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 22, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $5,906.61, which includes rent arrears, application fees, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay by August 22, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance, and the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement of the eviction.
