What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords initially filed both L1 and L2 applications but withdrew the L2 application during the hearing. The Tenants did not attend the hearing despite proper service of notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $29,136.00 by January 28, 2023. If not voided, Tenants must vacate by January 28, 2023, and pay $24,373.18 plus $95.34 per day from January 13, 2023, until they move out. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting January 29, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
