What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant has not paid $6,010.00 of the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from April 1, 2020 to January 31, 2022. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination due to the rent arrears.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,175.00 in arrears and costs, with $50.00 payments each month from February 2022 to April 2032, and the remaining $25.00 by May 1, 2032. The Tenant shall also pay the full monthly rent of $650.00 each month from February 2022 to May 2032. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
