What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant's guest seriously impairing the safety of others by throwing an ashtray and glass at a witness, then assaulting the witness by jamming their thumb in the witness's eye. The incident occurred on the residential complex and moved to the public boulevard.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 19, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owing by June 19, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by June 25, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
