What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 3, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $18,815.34, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order and compensation for use of the unit after April 22, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 3, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
