What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were not present at the hearing despite proper service of notice.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $35,201.00 by December 11, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by December 11, 2022, and pay $64,977.80 plus $85.48 per day from August 18, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting December 12, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
