What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords have entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchasers require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out by May 31, 2021. If the Tenant does not vacate by May 31, 2021, the Tenant shall pay the Landlords $47.67 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from June 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Landlords shall pay replacement compensation to the Tenant in the amount of $1,264.00 ($1,450.00 - $186.00) on or before May 31, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by May 31, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement.
