What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before February 28, 2023. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $14,291.03 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $36.59 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting February 18, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
