What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant was properly served with notice of the hearing but did not attend.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out by this date. The Tenant can void the order and continue the tenancy by paying the Landlord $2,339.08 on or before October 31, 2021, $4,064.37 on or before November 30, 2021, or $5,789.66 on or before December 31, 2021. If the Tenant does not make full payment by the appropriate deadline, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
