What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent arrears and current rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 2, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,078.69 plus $32.66 per day starting March 23, 2021 until the unit is vacated. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 2, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
