What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a prior consent order, including non-payment of rent arrears and current rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,181.64, which includes rent arrears, costs from the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $27.12 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting October 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 30, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
