The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,976.00 in arrears and costs, with partial payments due on July 1 and August 1, 2023. If the Tenant fails to make the payments, the full balance becomes due and the Landlord may apply for a new eviction order. The Tenant must also pay $48.16 per day for use of the unit from August 16, 2023 until move-out. Interest of 6% annually will be charged on any outstanding balance starting August 16, 2023.
