What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on February 14, 2022 and did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from February 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,604.64, which includes rent arrears up to March 31, 2022 and the application filing costs. If the Tenant does not pay by September 26, 2022, they will owe interest at 3% annually on the outstanding balance.
