What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant had not paid rent from October 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective October 20, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $4,686.00 on or before that date. The Tenant must pay $3,753.68 plus $29.59 per day starting March 1, 2022, for rent arrears, compensation, and application fee. If not paid, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting March 1, 2022.
