What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The Tenants are ordered to pay $11,426 in rent arrears and costs to the Landlord in a 12-month payment plan. The Tenants must also pay new rent on time and in full. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the LTB for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
