What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy of Tenant and evict the Unauthorized Occupant, Jalani Morgan. The Landlord also applied for compensation for the use of the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of August 29, 2021. The Unauthorized Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before August 29, 2021 and pay the Landlord daily compensation for the use of the unit from August 19, 2021 to the date they move out, as well as the $190 application fee. If the Unauthorized Occupant does not pay the full amount owing by August 29, 2021, they will owe simple interest at 2% on the outstanding balance starting August 30, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by August 29, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
