What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the arrears. At the hearing, a payment plan was agreed upon to allow the Tenant to pay the arrears over six months.
The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay $4,774.00 to the Landlord for rent arrears and costs. A payment plan was established for the Tenant to pay the arrears over six months, from December 2022 to May 2023. The Tenant must also pay new rent on time during this period. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the Landlord may apply for termination and eviction without notice.
