What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to damages caused to the rental unit. The Tenant removed the exhaust fan and scuffed the drywall, and also negligently caused damage to the toilet lid.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $67.23 for the partial cost of replacing the toilet, and $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 6, 2021, she will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
