What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants failed to pay rent for the period from November 1, 2020, to November 30, 2021. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 25, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $20,514.33 on or before that date. Tenants must pay $18,825.66 for rent arrears and compensation up to January 14, 2022, plus $96.99 per day from January 15, 2022, until they vacate. An additional $186.00 is owed for the application filing fee. If payment is not made, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 26, 2022.
