What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by January 9, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,444.08, which includes the rent arrears from the previous order and the rent owing up to December 29, 2021, as well as $29.59 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting December 30, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 9, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest starting January 10, 2022.
