What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The Tenants failed to pay $150 towards the rent arrears by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by December 21, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $944.80, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order, new rent due, and the application fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by December 21, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
