What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on September 24, 2020 with respect to application SWL-38807-20.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 18, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,540 in rent arrears and $29.59 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting May 8, 2021 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 18, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
