What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the premises. The Landlords also applied for an order requiring the Tenant to compensate them for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $1,964.30, which represents the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and replacing the damaged property. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlords $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by October 8, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
