What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's behavior substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the unit and/or interfering with the Landlord's interests. The dispute was over the non-payment of outstanding water and electricity bills.
The ruling
The Landlord's application is dismissed. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord's application filing fee of $175.00 by December 10, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the filing fee by the due date, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
