What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 4, 2021. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the amount the Landlord is entitled to. The Landlord is authorized to offset $43.53 per day for compensation for the Tenant's use of the unit starting June 24, 2021 until the Tenant moves out.
