What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N8 Notice of Eviction on February 7, 2020, which showed the Tenants were late paying rent every month from March 2019 to February 2020.

The ruling

The Tenants were ordered to pay the lawful rent in full and on time for the period of April 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any payments during this period, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants within 30 days of the breach.
