What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The N4 notice had an incorrect rent amount, so it was found to be fatally flawed and dismissed. The Landlord then amended the application to arrears only.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,596.25 in rent arrears and $175 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 11, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
