What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to illegal activity involving the production or trafficking of illegal drugs in the rental unit. The police raided the unit and found drugs and cash, and some individuals were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 6, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by June 15, 2021 and pay the Landlords $2,513.55, which includes compensation for use of the unit and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay by June 9, 2021, interest will accrue on the outstanding balance.
