What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to willful or negligent damage to the premises and substantial interference with reasonable enjoyment. The Landlord also sought compensation for damages.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. Tenants must pay $575 for damages and $186 for application filing costs. If not paid by February 14, 2022, interest will accrue. Eviction may be enforced starting March 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
