What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2022. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $4,013.76 by December 31, 2021, and an additional $36.16 per day from December 21, 2021 until the date they move out. If the unit is not vacated by January 31, 2022, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
