What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which Tenant did not void by paying arrears. Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing but did not attend.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by April 4, 2023, and pay $14,530.47 plus $48.66 per day from February 28, 2023, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 5, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
