What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 16, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $12,246 for rent arrears and costs, plus $65.59 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting October 6, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 16, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
