What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 22, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $9,014 in rent arrears and application costs, plus $54.25 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting June 12, 2021 until they vacate. If the full amount is not paid by June 22, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
