What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 1, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $12,341.64, which includes rent arrears up to February 18, 2021 and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $33.94 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting February 19, 2021 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 1, 2021, they will start owing interest, and the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
