What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant raised issues of harassment, vehicle damage, and lack of hot water.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2022 unless the Tenant pays $5,316 by January 31, 2022 to void the eviction order. The Tenant is also ordered to pay $2,995.91 plus $42.25 per day from January 11, 2022 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant fails to make the required payments, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
