What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's behavior substantially interfering with other tenants' reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex. The Landlord served two N5 Notices on the Tenant for issues related to guests causing disturbances and safety concerns.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 19, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $31.87 per day for use of the unit from October 9, 2021 until the Tenant moves out, as well as $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 19, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
