Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued on January 29, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $1,946.25 (less any amount paid after the application was filed), plus $44.94 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 1, 2020 until the Tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by August 15, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
