What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The interim order SOL-83720-17-IN issued on July 25, 2017 is stayed until otherwise ordered. A new hearing date has been set for October 5, 2017 with a bilingual Hearing Member, an interpreter and a Mediator. The parties are directed to exchange all documentation or evidence they intend to rely on by the specified dates.
