What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 12, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $8,192.11 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $30.33 per day in compensation starting December 2, 2023 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by December 12, 2023, they will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
