What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlords also claimed they require possession of the rental unit for their own residential occupation.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $7,990.00 in rent arrears and costs by August 2019. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing, and the Landlords may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Landlords' application to terminate the tenancy for their own residential use is dismissed.
