What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 25, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,019.75, which includes rent arrears up to September 30, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit. The Tenant must also pay $56.03 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting October 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 25, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting October 26, 2021.
