What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, the Tenants must move out by April 10, 2023, and pay $14,065.16 to the Landlord, plus $61.78 per day from March 14, 2023, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 11, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
