What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants gave notice to terminate the tenancy. The Tenants signed a Form N9 to end the tenancy on June 30, 2022, but did not vacate the unit. The Landlord seeks immediate eviction, while the Tenants request more time to find alternative accommodations.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit on or before January 15, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by this date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting January 16, 2023.
